Embedded Software Engineer (C++) - Ireland My client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join their fast-paced, innovative team. The company is at the forefront of developing cutting-edge technologies and software for the mobility sector. Responsibilities: Design and implement high-performance application software for in-vehicle systems in software-defined vehicles. Participate in design and code reviews to ensure adherence to standards and best practices. Provide maintenance and support for software deployed in production vehicles. Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure software quality. Work collaboratively with team members on software architecture and solution development. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related field; advanced degrees (MS/PhD) are preferred. Over five years of professional experience in software development, not including internships. Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms. Proficiency in C++ programming. Experience with Python and shell scripting. Demonstrated experience in systems design, particularly with preemptive, multitasking operating systems. Experience with Embedded Linux, Android, or similar embedded operating systems. Familiarity with networking technologies, including Ethernet, TCP/IP, and HTTP. Knowledge of software configuration management tools, defect tracking systems, and peer review processes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
