Our Dublin based client are looking for anEmbedded Software Developerto join their team This is a permanent position with an established and growing Irish company Job Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable code Work closely with the Engineering team to develop new and innovative products Work on all phases of the product life cycle, from initial scope and requirements, through design, development, testing, release and maintenance. Be capable at documenting and creating solutions by developing flowcharts, layouts, diagrams and clear code. Identify areas of risk for concept designs and develop suitable tests to remove and reduce risk. Build and test prototype designs to assess feasibility and risk. Develop and document product definitions based on customer requirements and proof of concept testing. Work with the development team to define all tasks and tests required to complete product development and full life cycle Carry out development work on products as required (VHDL, embedded C). Deliver tasks within time estimates. Perform any other related duties as assigned by management when it's required Stay up to date with the latest technologies and methodologies in embedded development, applying them as appropriate to projects. Experience Required 3-5+ years of experience in VHDL & Embedded Programming BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science or Engineering Experience with algorithms / data structures knowledge Software development lifecycle experience Knowledge of Scrum Practices Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think and work in a creative manner Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
