Job Description
Embedded software engineer sought to develop firmware for green technology sector products. 2 days onsite work in Limerick per week, up to €70,000 salary, private healthcare, and 27 days holiday.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality firmware for embedded systems with C code
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for product development from concept to delivery
- Work with wired or wireless communications, sensors, user interfaces, and control
- Optimise code for production systems
Requirements:
- Embedded C development experience
- Full-cycle product design and development experience
- Code optimisation skills
- Experience with oscilloscope, DMM, and logic analyzer for debugging and signal analysis
- System-level design experience
- B.Sc or B.Eng degree in Computer, Electrical, Electronic, or Software Engineering
Preferred skills:
- CI/CD and Git
- C++
- ARM
- Communication standards (I2C, SPI, RS232)
- Bare metal or embedded OS (FreeRTOS & Linux)
- Wireless communication
