Job Description
Embedded Software Engineer in Limerick, Ireland. Join Zenovo Ireland supporting an established engineering organisation for firmware development, product design and embedded C development. Opportunities for a starting salary of up to 70,000 Euros, private healthcare, 27 days holiday and pension.
Key tasks include:
- Development of high-quality code for production systems
- Working with multidisciplinary teams to take products from concept to delivery
- Firmware development for embedded systems with embedded code in C
- Joining a team that employs wired or wireless communications, sensors, user interfaces and control
Requirements:
- Embedded C development experience
- Proven track record in full-cycle product design and development
- Experience in code optimisation
- Skilled in using oscilloscope/DMM/logic analyzer for debugging and signal analysis
- Experience in system-level design
- B.Sc or B.Eng degree in Computer, Electrical, Electronic, or Software Engineering (or equivalent)
Preferred skills:
- CI/CD and Git
- C++
- ARM (STM or NXP)
- Communication standards (I2C, SPI, RS232)
- Bare metal or embedded OS such as FreeRTOS & Linux
