Job Description
Embedded Software Engineer role in Limerick, Ireland, involves firmware development for green technology products.
Zenovo Ireland supports an established engineering organisation with offices in Limerick, Ireland.
Key tasks include:
- Development of firmware for embedded systems with embedded code in C
- Joining a team that employs wired or wireless communications, sensors, user interfaces and control
- Development of high-quality code for production systems
- Working with multidisciplinary teams to take products from initial concept through to delivery / transfer to manufacture
Requirements:
- Embedded C development experience
- Proven track record in full-cycle product design and development
- Experience in code optimisation
- Skilled in using oscilloscope/DMM/logic analyzer for debugging and signal analysis
- Experience in system-level design
Qualifications:
- Sc or B.Eng degree in Computer, Electrical, Electronic, or Software Engineering (or equivalent)
- Bonus CI/CD and Git C++ ARM (STM or NXP) Communication standards (I2 C, SPI, RS232) bare metal or embedded OS such as Free RTOS & Linux
