Embedded Software Engineer Manager Dublin, Ireland Hybrid Work About My Client My client are a fast-growing company providing advanced software for dynamic, software-defined vehicles. Their solutions, used by a leading global OEM, are driving the digital transformation in automotive technology. Their diverse team consists of top technology and automotive specialists. My client are seeking a motivated Embedded Software Engineer Manager to join their team. This role involves leading a cross-functional team through the full software development life cycle, working on cutting-edge technologies from conception to deployment. The ideal candidate will be hands-on and able to lead effectively. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and expand a global engineering team, ensuring high-quality and timely product delivery. Establish and maintain standards for code quality, reliability, and maintenance, including conducting design and code reviews. Collaborate with product managers to prioritize development, manage project scopes, and represent the engineering team in customer interactions to gather requirements and drive solutions. Q ualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field (MS/PhD preferred). 10 years of hands-on software development experience, including system architecture and clean code. 3 years of managing a software development team and 2 years as a technical lead or architect. Experience managing engineers across multiple countries and handling multiple parallel projects. Proficiency in C++ and Python. If you are interested in this, please reach out!
