Job Description

Modular Front End Application Engineer sought to provide design assistance and application support for pre-fabricated modular building designs in the EMEA region.

This is an exciting opportunity for a remote position with extensive travel (approx. 30-40%) in the EMEA region. The role can be based anywhere in Ireland, UK, Germany, or the Netherlands.

Responsibilities:

  • Determine and drive the technical quality and content of the quotation process.
  • Read, interpret, and agree on customer specifications to create a competitive Eaton solution.
  • Establish relationships with electrical consulting engineers, end users, and design build contractors to promote Eaton products and solutions.
  • Support the Modular Partner Program team with partner selection, promotion, and onboarding.
  • Advise on 3rd party or special equipment materials to provide technical competitive solutions.
  • Write consultant specifications and technical documents for design, testing, commissioning, and delivery.
  • Clean hand over to Order Management and Manufacturing Engineering systems engineers to ensure technical compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree.
  • Previous work experience in pre-fabricated modular applications.
  • Architecture & Technical knowledge regarding pre-fabricated modular solutions.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational, presentation, communication, and time management skills.
  • Results-driven.
  • Ability to work within an international, culturally diverse, and matrix-based organization.
