We are open to considering qualified candidates based in significant locations where we operate in Europe which includes the UK, Ireland, Poland or Luxembourg.Who we are looking forEMEA Head of Fund Accounting is a key leadership position within the Global Fund Accounting Team in Global Delivery. EMEA Head of Fund Accounting is responsible for organization, management and delivery of the entire suite of accounting services to clients in EMEA. The accounting team is responsible for delivering core services to State Street end customers. The EMEA Head of Fund Accounting function is directly accountable for positive and consistent service delivery and client outcomes. This role also requires significant leadership across EMEA.The EMEA Head of Fund Accounting is responsible for leading and developing a global team of over 2,000 people focused on the following core activities:Multi-jurisdictional accounting including daily share class net asset value calculationMaintaining client books and records in accordance with agreed accounting standardsWhat you will be responsible forAs a EMEA Head of Fund Accounting, Senior Vice President you will:Ensure accounting activities are performed, and services are delivered to clients in accordance with all contractual and client service level agreements. Focus on client outcomes, problem solving, cooperating and communicating with the rest of the organization to achieve shared success.Maintain high standards of accuracy and timeliness, delivering services in an efficient and controlled manner with a continuous focus on improving quality and productivity. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of NAV calculations across all accounting platforms to include MCH, GP3 and Simcorp.Document, adhere to, and ensure compliance with operating policies, procedures and controls, relevant SOC/ISAE controls and regulatory requirements.Implement key metrics, performance and risk indicators to track volumes, manage growth, service delivery quality, cost, productivity, efficiency and risk. Identify and develop opportunities for transformation and capacity creation.Manage financial performance to operating plan, ensuring forecasts are accurate, headcount and expenses are actively managed and agreed efficiency targets are achieved.Represent Fund Accounting appropriately, preparing for and actively participating in client meetings, presentations and due diligence reviews.Manage executive global stakeholders across Global HUBS, Global Delivery and Institutional Services, partnering with other hubs on best practice sharing and optimal operating models.Oversee business continuity planning and execution, developing a scalable, robust operating model that delivers resiliency.Develop and lead a large team, fostering high performance and creating a destination for top talent.Support control, risk, compliance/ethics and internal audit reviews or inspections, ensuring there are no open or overdue actions for accounting.What we valueEMEA Head of Fund Accounting is a key position and requires senior leadership and advanced skills in areas such as:A proven track record at a senior global level in asset servicing or asset management with over 15 years' leadership experience within operations and/or technology.Ability to navigate a large, global organization, building meaningful relationships and developing an effective network.Capability to process feedback and develop meaningful actions to resolve identified challenges along reasonable timescales.Solid technical knowledge of accounting and fund services, with deep experience interfacing at a senior level with clients across product segments, market trends, third party managers and regulators.Experience working successfully in a matrixed environment, effectively managing multiple stakeholders and determining highest priorities for the organization.Proven leadership skills in managing and developing a high performing operations team.Exceptional communication and relationship management skills, with an ability to think strategically and manage complexity.Excellent time management, presentation skills and communication to multiple levels (clients, other 3rd parties, executives, peers, subordinates).Proven track record of achieving/exceeding financial goals through expense discipline and headcount management.Experience with change management programs in sponsorship, leadership roles, demonstrating ability to execute under challenging circumstances.Demonstrated ability to manage, coach and influence colleagues and virtual team members.Cross-cultural awareness and the ability to connect with colleagues globally in a collaborative, open work environment.Willingness for regular business travel.For further information, and to apply, please visit our website via the “Apply” button below. #J-18808-Ljbffr
