Job Description
Lead the EMEIA Privacy team in upholding Apple's high ethical and corporate standards, driving innovation and excellence in data protection and law enforcement requests.
At Apple, we create innovative products that respect consumer security and privacy. As a key member of our EMEIA Privacy team, you will work closely with business, engineering, and legal teams on cutting-edge projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel on data protection aspects of new and existing products and services
- Lead policy assessments and engagements with Governments and law enforcement agencies in the EMEIA region
- Lead Apple's engagements and interactions with data protection authorities in the region
- Manage the handling of privacy complaints and queries
- Responsible for the management and completion of law enforcement requests in the EMEIA region
- Support compliance and auditing frameworks
- Assist with drafting of, and updates to, relevant policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years privacy related experience, and 15+ years overall experience working with or leading complex teams
- Proven management skills leading large teams
- Proven experience driving complex cross-functional initiatives
- Ability to clearly organize and inform through excellent written and verbal communications in English
- Strong analytical capability particularly with attention to detail
- Able to multi-task across diverse business units and geographical boundaries
- Comfortable expressing a point of view and influencing change
- Ability to identify and develop key team members' talent
- Sound business judgment, and flexibility/adaptability to manage multiple wide-ranging matters
