Job Description
Project Engineer in Energy Storage & System Services required to lead technical feasibility and project development for battery energy storage systems.

Join our dedicated team in Generation Projects where we develop power generation projects, including renewable and thermal projects, as well as managing overhauls and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical feasibility and assess concept opportunities.
- Progress technical assessment, interfaces and works required for key project infrastructure and connections.
- Support tender evaluation process for selecting preferred bidder(s) in line with contracting and procurement strategy.
- Support technical negotiations with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and/or Contractors for finalising supply and construction contracts.
- Manage project schedule and costs in line with project master plan and business case.
- Implement contracting strategy, specification preparation, tender evaluation, negotiations to maximise business case opportunities.
- Implement project management methodology, providing consistent delivery standards through clear roles, decision rights and mind-sets.
- Support Asset Development on getting projects into relevant auctions.
- Prepare reports, presentations, minutes, documents etc. as required in line with project requirements.
- Undertake site visits as required.
- Manage third party consultants as required to support delivery of project workstreams.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in an energy or related sector.
- Primary engineering level 8 degree in a relevant discipline and/or relevant work experience.
- Experience with project management processes & project delivery methodologies.
- Strong experience in leading the preparation of technical specifications.
- Good understanding of commercial and technical aspects of project design and/or construction.
- Excellent communication and report writing skills.
- Understanding of business case of relevant technologies; Energy Storage.
- Ability to guide a project team to a high level of performance.
- Understanding of PSDP and/or CDMC processes.
- Good understanding of commercial contracts, including management of same.
Location: Engineering and Major Projects, One Dublin Airport, Cloghran, Co. Dublin.

Salary: €55,000 to €65,000 per annum.
