We believe that engaged employees are the cornerstone of our success, and we are seeking an Employee Engagement & Communication Manager to lead our efforts in creating a thriving and connected workforce.

As an Employee Engagement & Communications Manager, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing a workplace environment where our employees feel valued, motivated, and empowered. You will be responsible for designing and implementing engagement strategies, programs, and initiatives that enhance morale, productivity, and retention. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build a culture that promotes innovation, diversity, and a sense of belonging.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Communications:

  • Internal Communications: Craft, review, and deliver employee communications that support internal information sharing and transparency of company-wide initiatives across multiple internal communication channels.
  • Enhance Internal Communication Channels: Promote and enhance internal communication channels that connect employees with leadership, fostering a culture of transparency and open dialogue.
  • Oversight of Employee Communication Platforms: Provide direction for the use and evolution of our internal communication platforms, such as Workvivo, to support effective employee engagement.
  • Facilitate Company-Wide Updates: Lead the planning and execution of quarterly company-wide updates, both in-person and virtually. Collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders to develop compelling content that reflects the company's strategic direction, achievements, and upcoming initiatives.

Employee Engagement:

  • Oversee Engagement Initiatives: Establish and maintain a global annual calendar of key engagement initiatives, providing strategic guidance and oversight to the implementation teams regionally to ensure alignment with organisational priorities.
  • Support Employer Branding Strategy: Support positioning Fenergo as an employer of choice, ensuring that the company's mission, CORE values, and culture are effectively communicated.
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of a global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) strategy alongside our Diversity Committee to foster an inclusive work environment and strategically alignment with the company purpose.
  • Oversight of Employee Recognition Programmes: Provide high-level guidance on the creation and continuous development of employee recognition and rewards programmes, ensuring these initiatives align with broader engagement strategies and organisational CORE values.
  • Support and Organise Employee Resource Groups: Provide strategic guidance and support to employee resource groups (ERGs), including the Women's Network, Diversity Committee, and Sport and Social clubs, ensuring they align with the company's values and objectives and remain within operational budgets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a global Employee Engagement Manager/Communication Manager or in a similar role for at least 6 years.
  • Experience with Workvivo an advantage
  • A passionate advocate for diversity, inclusion, and employee well-being
  • Proven experience working globally across time zones and jurisdictions.
  • Strong understanding of employee engagement principles, organizational culture, and employee communications best practices.
  • Ability to working cross functional on a variety of initiatives
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport at all levels of the organisation.
  • Exceptional project management skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in using engagement survey tools and software.
