Job Description

The Merrion, one of Dublins finest luxury hotels, a certified Great Place to Work, is recruiting for a full time Employee Restaurant Assistant in our employee restaurant, Dukes.


Centrally located in Dublin within easy reach of public transport, this role will offer you the opportunity to work in a beautiful hotel where the highest of standards are in place and where you have all the tools you need to do your job.

Working alongside an experienced team, you will be offered plenty of training.


This is a really rewarding role on a team where you can be assured of a warm welcome Your role as Employee Restaurant Assistant will include Preparation of the employee restaurant for meal service Service of hot food for lunch and dinner Maintenance and refresh of all food items incl salad buffet Restocking of crockery and cutlery Cleaning and tidying of seating area to include changing bins, wiping tables and chairs and mopping.


The successful candidate will have the ability to work as part of a team, the ability to follow instructions, have good communication skills, good customer service skills, high standards of hygiene and have the ability to keep calm under pressure.

Shift work & flexibility are required in this position.

8 hour shifts, 5 days per week.

Days of work will include weekends and some bank holidays.
