Employment Tax Manager - North Dublin Role Overview: An established contracting firm is looking for an experienced and driven Tax & Compliance Manager to oversee all tax and compliance matters across Ireland, the UK, and Europe. Main Duties: Manage the companys tax compliance and reporting across multiple jurisdictions. Design and implement strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize the groups tax position. Ensure adherence to tax laws and regulations at local, national, and international levels. Prepare and review tax documentation, including returns. Act as a liaison with tax authorities and external auditors to address any tax-related inquiries or issues. Provide tax guidance and support to senior leadership and internal teams. Stay up to date with tax law changes and assess the implications for the business. Conduct research and analysis to support strategic tax planning. Handle global mobility tax matters, including compliance for employees on overseas assignments. Work with HR and payroll to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting for international staff. Compliance Responsibilities: Develop and enforce compliance policies and procedures. Perform regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate compliance risks. Offer training and guidance to staff on regulatory compliance. Ensure timely and accurate submission of compliance reports to relevant authorities. Skills & Experience: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (Masters or relevant tax qualification is a plus). At least 5 years experience in tax (experience in construction is beneficial). Strong understanding of European tax regulations. Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage complex tasks independently. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office.
