Job Description

My client, a leading energy supply and services provider, based in South Dublin is seekingan Energy Analyst to join their Risk & Regulation team. Reporting to the R&R Director the role offers the chance to work with a dynamic team committed to creating a sustainable energy future. This is a hybrid role offering a strong benefits package. Responsibilities: Analyse complex datasets and work closely with account managers Identify and implement commercial opportunities to grow sales and reduce margin erosions Liaise with owners of renewable assets to assist with procurement of energy Minimise revenue leakage to ensure all power consumed is billed at appropriate rates Assist with the monitoring of energy & commodity markets to assist in forecasting prices Execute and report on risk management strategies for the company Provide insights for Management, advising on industry trends and opportunities for growth Support with implementing automation to reduce manual processes and to improve efficiency Any other duties as the company may see fit from time to time Requirements: BA in Accounting or Business preferable 2 years experience working in an analyst position an advantage Ability to analyse qualitative and quantitative information and constructively challenge it Good knowledge of Office 365 suite essential, especially Microsoft Power suite (Power BI) Excellent communication skills with proven ability to interpret, explain and document complex/abstract issues and information in a clear and concise manner is required If this opportunity is of interest, please contact Olivia Wallace at the enclosed address.
