Energy consultant sought to support green verification, market services, and advisory areas in a leading energy company.
The company is a key player in the energy sector, with a strong presence in Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Great Britain.
The consultancy arm provides support to a wide range of clients, including supply businesses, funds, banks, producers, and generation companies.
The role will involve working with the Renewables Manager to support the green verification function, providing advice to clients on the Irish Electricity Markets, and maintaining a high familiarity with regulatory changes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of System Services regulation in Ireland, a primary degree in a related field, and a minimum of two years' experience in a related role.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Working with the Renewables Manager to support the green verification function
- Providing advice to clients on the Irish Electricity Markets
- Maintaining a high familiarity with regulatory changes
- Clarifying market changes to clients
- Providing regulatory assistance to clients
- Supporting in the Capacity Market
Desirable skills and experience include:
- Experience in a regulatory environment
- Knowledge of biogas development
- Knowledge of Carbon auditing standards
