Energy Engineer required to deliver cost-effective and innovative solutions in energy consultancy and energy management.
J.B. Barry and Partners Limited, a leading Consulting Engineers in Ireland, seeks a dedicated individual to join their team in Dublin, Cork, or Castlebar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hold an honours degree in civil, mechanical, electrical, or energy engineering, or equivalent professional qualification.
- At least 5 years' post-graduate experience in energy consultancy and energy management.
- Experience in Energy Auditing, Energy Efficient Design, Renewable Energy Feasibility and design, Planning Applications.
- Ability to work as part of a team and administer contracts using Public Works and FIDIC Contracts.
- Knowledge of BIM, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and full driving licence.
- Experience in renewable energy projects, including Solar PV, Wind, Hydro, and Biogas, and energy auditing of industrial sites.
- Feasibility assessments for renewable energy, including cost-benefit analysis, and site surveys and assessments.
- Experience in liaison with ESB and Grid Connections, and water/wastewater treatment plant projects.
- Good knowledge and awareness of Health & Safety legislation and regulations.
- Experience with software packages to design solar and wind generation.
