Join a leading law firm's Energy, Renewables, Utilities & Climate Action group as an Associate, supporting clients in energy operations, project development, and regulatory matters.
Our team is a leader in the field, with over 25 years of experience in pioneering and complex energy-related projects in Ireland. We support clients in all facets of their energy operations, including project development, financing, environmental compliance, planning matters, Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), regulatory guidance, and corporate transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support clients in energy operations, project development, and regulatory matters
- Contribute to the development of complex energy-related projects
- Provide counsel on Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and regulatory guidance
- Work with clients on project financing, environmental compliance, and planning matters
About the Team:
- Our team is comprised of skilled legal professionals with unparalleled expertise in the energy, renewables, and climate action sectors
- We have vast market and regulatory experience, with a strong focus on Ireland's energy transition
- We have worked on transformative projects, including the 700MW Celtic Interconnector project and advising EirGrid on securing Temporary Emergency Generation services
Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor with a background in energy and renewable projects or corporate or finance law
- Strong interest in the energy sector and a passion for delivering excellent client service
- Between 2 to 6 years of post-qualification experience within a reputable corporate law firm
- Strong academic credentials and a commitment to continuous learning
