Job Description
The primary purpose of this position is to apply intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields.
- Lead 2-3 projects related to manufacturing, equipment build, site capacity expansion, and engineering from start to finish independently.
- Run weekly project meetings, provide project status updates to senior management, and maintain project documents.
- Accountable for scope, requirement gathering, risks, project planning, maintaining issues log, creating BOM, procurement, budgets vs forecast, stakeholder management, communication, and influencing others to achieve goals.
- Work with a cross-functional team of quality, manufacturing, design, controls, maintenance, etc. to ensure project delivery on time, scope, and budget.
- Initiate and maintain relationships with individuals and business units within the site or organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any engineering or related technical field, or Master's degree preferred.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to understand the manufacturing environment and drive people to complete tasks.
- 10+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Project Management experience, with PMP certification preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with well-developed written and oral communication skills.
- Positive, can-do attitude and thirst for continuous learning.
