Job Description

The primary purpose of this position is to apply intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields.

  • Lead 2-3 projects related to manufacturing, equipment build, site capacity expansion, and engineering from start to finish independently.
  • Run weekly project meetings, provide project status updates to senior management, and maintain project documents.
  • Accountable for scope, requirement gathering, risks, project planning, maintaining issues log, creating BOM, procurement, budgets vs forecast, stakeholder management, communication, and influencing others to achieve goals.
  • Work with a cross-functional team of quality, manufacturing, design, controls, maintenance, etc. to ensure project delivery on time, scope, and budget.
  • Initiate and maintain relationships with individuals and business units within the site or organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any engineering or related technical field, or Master's degree preferred.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to understand the manufacturing environment and drive people to complete tasks.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Project Management experience, with PMP certification preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, with well-developed written and oral communication skills.
  • Positive, can-do attitude and thirst for continuous learning.
