Job Description
Seeking a skilled Engineer to oversee maintenance, recreational and commercial use, and development of infrastructure in the Shannon Navigation Area.
Blackfox Solutions is a leading provider of operational management services in the Western Region of Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise maintenance and construction projects, ensuring safety and quality.
- Coordinate with contractors, volunteers, and local stakeholders.
- Conduct site surveys, risk assessments, and planning submissions.
- Manage the use of waterways and property, enforcing relevant regulations.
- Liaise with environmental bodies and ensure compliance with legislation.
- Assist with water level management and contribute to emergency response duties.
Requirements:
- Experience in maintenance and construction management.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication skills and project management experience.
