Join us on the Journey... National Express are recruiting Engineers to join our team at Mortons Travel, Tadley. The successful candidates willsupport and assist the engineering management team to deliver an efficient and effective Engineering Workshop, ensuring at all times that duties are carried out to a high-quality standard and meet the standards required under health & safety and regulatory compliance requirements, and that high standards are maintained for our customers. There are 2 full time posts available. 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. What you'll do: Carry out the following tasks below on the required or relevant vehicles in your garage and to any new vehicles your garage may acquire Diagnose defects and effect repairs to engine, gearbox, chassis, axles, steering and brakes Fault diagnose, using specialist equipment relevant to vehicles in your garage. Welding (gas and mig) and gas cutting with the appropriate qualifications or training Repair vehicles to Company and Statutory standards Repair defects and identify with vehicle types relevant to your garage or place of work Prepare vehicles for the Annual test (MOT) Carry out the servicing of all vehicles Service vehicles in accordance with Company and vehicle Manufacturing specifications and to Company and Statutory standards Maintain documentation as per documented quality procedures Demonstrate flexibility in line with operational requirement Maintain good housekeeping and conform to health, safety and environmental regulations. What you'll need: NVQ level 3 or equivalent PCV or HGV knowledge / Experience is essential Current UK Driving License Apprentice trained preferable What we offer in return for your hard work and commitment...
