Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead project management in the execution of the specific manufacturing workstream on time and within budget.
  • Oversee technical execution of related projects.
  • Ensure that all project activities are conducted in line with procedures and controls outlined in the QMS and that the quality and performance of the product conforms to specified standards and in compliance with the recognized Regulatory Standards for relevant markets.
  • Collaborate with functional stakeholders to ensure that technical, validation and regulatory strategies are implemented in an efficient and compliant manner and at an appropriate risk level.
  • Partner with Regulatory to execute the strategy necessary for all filings, inspections, and registrations in multiple sites and countries.
  • Communicate with internal and external partners to coordinate and execute project plans.
  • Provide technical leadership and support execution of EHS&S policies and procedures.
  • Ensure capital equipment appropriations are executed to required technical standards and within timing and budget requirements.
  • Facilitate technical decision making of multi-functional teams within the project scope and lead strong inter-functional collaboration.
  • Lead effective and timely communication processes and stakeholder management processes within the project scope and ensure project and program activities are consistently documented.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or University degree required; focused degree in Manufacturing, Biomedical Engineering, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or similar.
  • Ideally Post-Graduate Degree Qualified, (MSc, MBA or similar).
  • Experienced in working in a Medical Device and/or regulated manufacturing work environment.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of relevant professional work experience.
  • Demonstrated track record in leadership of large-scale capital projects within a regulated environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills & demonstrated ability to lead a technical team.
  • Track record of innovation and adaptability in project execution, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proven competence to evaluate communication and act upon significant risks, demonstrating leadership of the high standards of quality and compliance.
  • Demonstrated background in talent development and performance leadership of team members and colleagues.
  • Act with speed, flexibility, and accountability to achieve goals.
  • Experience in Cleaning and Packaging processes and or technologies in a regulated industry.
  • Experienced in process development and Process/Tech Transfer.
  • This role may require up to 25% of domestic & international travel.
