Job Description
High-volume manufacturing engineering lead required to manage a team of engineers and drive continuous improvement in key metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of engineers in a manufacturing environment.
- Manage team development and performance.
- Manage product and process change activities, technology transfers, and assure continuity of supply.
- Work cross-functionally and cross-site to deliver finished products to the end customer.
- Lead projects to drive continuous improvement in key metrics in alignment with Lean, 6 Sigma, Design Robustness, and Problem-Solving Principles.
- Deliver solutions to enhance product reliability and process capability.
Requirements:
- Degree level or higher in a relevant technical discipline (Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electronics, Engineering, or alternative) with 10 years relevant engineering experience.
- 5 years' experience or more in a relevant leadership position.
- Very strong technical background (Mechanical / Electromechanical / Manufacturing).
- Excellent collaboration and communications skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
- A strong inspirational leader and excellent team player who knows how to develop and drive high-performance teams.
- A high-paced individual that leads by example, is organized, and solution-focused.
- Overall ability to combine technical, design, and manufacturing skillsets in a high-pace, dynamic environment.
- Can mentor, develop, and guide the team in problem-solving and is solutions-driven.
- Utilizes knowledge and skillset to get the job done with pace, efficiently utilizing all available resources.
