Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced Manufacturing Engineering Lead to join our client's team in Dublin. As a key member of the manufacturing engineering team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of engineers, managing product and process change activities, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead and Develop a Team: Manage and develop a team of engineers in a manufacturing environment, focusing on their growth and performance.
- Manage Product and Process Change: Oversee product and process change activities, ensuring continuity of supply and seamless technology transfers.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Lead projects to enhance product reliability and process capability, aligning with Lean, Six Sigma, Design Robustness, and Problem-Solving Principles.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with cross-functional teams and sites to deliver finished products to customers.
Requirements: The successful candidate will have:
- Technical Expertise: A degree in a relevant technical discipline (Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electronics, Engineering, or alternative) with 10 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Leadership Experience: 5 years or more in a relevant leadership position.
- Strong Technical Background: Excellent technical knowledge in Mechanical / Electromechanical / Manufacturing.
- Collaboration and Communication Skills: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Leadership and Teamwork: A strong inspirational leader and excellent team player, able to develop and drive high-performance teams.
