Engineering Lead Role Overview: * Reporting to the Director of Engineering & Facilities, the Engineering Lead will utilize strong managerial expertise to organize and manage a high-volume environment. * You will drive the timely delivery of essential maintenance support for manufacturing and packaging equipment, ensuring compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements to meet customer demand. Responsibilities include: * Oversee preventative maintenance to ensure compliance with SOPs, Health & Safety, and GMP standards. * Schedule and performance manage the Preventative Maintenance team, ensuring efficient, timely, and compliant activities. * Ensure the Preventative Maintenance team is well-trained, and equipment parts are procured and ready for scheduled maintenance. * Engage in cross-functional team activities to address and mitigate root cause issues related to preventative maintenance and machine performance. * Develop methods to minimize mean time between failures and maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Competencies: * Strong technical knowledge of equipment reliability engineering. * In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical engineering compliance standards. * Excellent relationship-building and collaboration skills. * Ability to demonstrate and lead organizational values, initiatives, and culture. * At least 5 years of experience in engineering management. * Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and/or biotechnology is desirable
