Large Utility Project.Reporting to the Project Director, you will have responsibility for managing and driving all technical engineering aspects of the project including design, procurement, construction, commissioning, safety, and environmental.You will manage the performance of the design/technical engineering teams (internal and external) to ensure a high-quality design.You will have the ability to lead teams, manage a wide range of technical engineering external suppliers and consultants, effectively diagnose technical issues, and have excellent knowledge of gas-related process design.ExperienceDegree in Engineering with a minimum of ten years engineering design experience and a proven track record in leading multi-disciplinary design projects.Proven track record of effectively appointing, engaging, and managing external technical specialists and engineering service providers.Have an excellent knowledge of H&S standards and risk management systems e.g. Design Risk Assessment, HAZOP, QRA etc.Board working knowledge spanning disciplines such as COMAH, Land Use Planning, marine engineering, and process engineering.Initial 3 years fixed term contract with hybrid working, 35-hour week, 26 days holidays, Pension. Responsibility for the detailed design of capital and operational projects for price control (refurbishment, replacement, maintenance, upgrades) of pipelines.Location: Cork Role: Permanent #J-18808-Ljbffr
