You can be based in either Kerry, Cork, or Dublin offices. Travel to and from site on occasion will also be required.

Position Overview

While the Engineering Technical Manager may be from an Electrical Engineering background, this is not a prerequisite for the position as the role will be both technical orientated and process-based. This is a full-time position, based in either of the locations listed.

Responsibilities

1. Design report compilation
2. Quality assurance compliance
3. ISO HSQE standards implementation
4. Peer review of draft reports/drawings/documentation to ensure the highest levels of quality before formal issue.
5. Detailed analysis of design packages as prepared
6. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team on the design of transmission and distribution networks
7. Assisting in the compilation and assessment of Tender Submissions

Skills and Qualifications

1. A high level of engineering technical knowledge and ability, particularly in the area of engineering design & project delivery.
2. Proficiency in compiling technical reports is essential
3. An ability to comprehensively carry out peer design reviews is a must.
4. Implementation of standardised quality assurance processes
5. Familiarity with HSQE standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 will be necessary.
6. Minimum Degree qualified – Engineering / Design / Electrical or Project Management related subject

Salary is open to negotiation and based on experience.
