Job Description

Engineering Manager sought for Energy, Power, and Renewable sector to oversee design, development, and execution of engineering projects, drive innovation, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Our client, a leading international provider of innovative Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering Solutions, is expanding significantly and delivering large-scale projects across Ireland, the U.K., Germany, Denmark, and Sweden.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of energy projects
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Providing technical leadership in the development and optimization of renewable energy systems and power generation infrastructure
  • Leading the integration of new technologies, such as smart grids and energy storage solutions, into existing and new projects
  • Leading, mentoring, and managing a team of engineers
  • Conducting regular performance reviews, providing coaching, and supporting the professional development of team members
  • Preparing and delivering technical reports, presentations, and updates to senior management and external partners
  • Developing and managing the engineering budget for the energy sector, including forecasting and allocation of resources

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field
  • Master's degree or higher preferred
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification highly desirable
  • Relevant experience in engineering and project management
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, power generation, and energy storage systems
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
