Job Description
Job Summary: Manage all aspects of the Engineering Department to ensure compliance with safety, environmental and operational requirements, provide strong leadership, and oversee maintenance work, budgeting, and team management.
- Core Duties:
- Lead the team of engineers, supervisors, professionals, and tradesmen in delivering plant performance and continuous improvement work streams.
- Manage maintenance work, ensuring short and long-term quality of assets, and maintain a highly motivated team in achieving a preventative/predictive maintenance system.
- Manage maintenance projects, plan and execute annual shutdowns, and prepare annual maintenance budgets.
- Actively participate in recruitment, talent identification, and development within the department.
- Requirements:
- At least 7 years experience in a similar role/working environment.
- Qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- Proven technical skills and strong commercial acumen.
- Excellent IT skills, Project Management skillset, and attention to detail.
- Strategic thinker with vision and drive, contributing to overall performance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
