Engineering Manager leads the newly created Engineering Department at a leading Manufacturing company in Sligo. The position is responsible for investments in manufacturing machinery, tooling, and other production equipment. Key responsibilities include acting as Strategic Manager of multiple technologies, development and implementation of systems and protocols, compliance with regulations, and management of budgets and projects. The ideal candidate has a degree in Engineering, 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, and expertise in project management and resources management. They should be highly motivated, enthusiastic, energetic, and able to work effectively with other functional areas. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, strong people management skills, and a quality-focused approach. The candidate should have knowledge of the latest plastic injection mould tool, metal stamping, and automation technology, and a proven knowledge of technology deployment and quality principles.
