You will guide a team of engineers to investigate and mitigate various risk and fraud vectors that threaten our marketplace. This is a full-time position reporting to the Director of Engineering, Risk. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead a team of 6 full-stack engineers * Set both overall strategy and near-term priorities * Define goals of the team and communicate its impact to technical and business collaborators * Participate in team's day-to-day work, from coordinating sprint meetings to prioritizing external requests and incidents * Serve as a coach, mentor, and advocate for engineers on the team **Requirements** * Experience working in the Risk & Fraud domain, preferably in an e-commerce setting * Worked or led teams that handle reactive, interrupt-driven work * Experience adding friction to websites and mobile apps to deter fraudsters while balancing needs of legitimate users * Ability to make decisions in the face of ambiguous or changing priorities and goals * Track record of using communications, facilitation, and active listening skills to foster a collaborative and inclusive culture on your team * Flexibility with work hours to collaborate with team members spanning different time zones **What We Offer** * Eligible for an equity package, annual performance bonus, and competitive benefits * Opportunity to work with a diverse, equitable, and inclusive team * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Flexible work arrangements to support work-life balance
