Role Overview We are currently recruiting an Engineering Shift Manager to join our Engineering team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this is an onsite position based at Fox & Geese site, Dublin 22. Purpose of the Role Assist the Engineering manager in leading and developing the mechanical and electrical maintenance teams in the execution of the Packaging maintenance program. Deliver effective reliability/asset care processes and procedures, continuously improving equipment performance in line with Lean principles. Challenge the status quo and coach the maintenance teams in the delivery of engineering reliability and lean operations strategy. Influence at a cross-functional level. Lead the maintenance team to best in class (site and company) in Lean Principles. Invest in and develop a culture of accountability within the engineering department. Play a pivotal role in influencing transformational change. Help Fox & Geese become best in class Pernod Ricard Affiliate in terms of safety, quality, and productivity. Role and Responsibilities Compliance Ensure compliance with all safety, health, environment, and quality legislation, procedures, and standards. Champion and embed a safe work environment. People Engagement and Leadership Role-model the Irish Distillers Values. Lead and execute the deployment of Asset Care within the packaging hall. Build relationships with plant personnel and communicate effectively at all levels. Coach and support craft and line teams to increase reliability of machines. Continuous Improvement Champion a continuous improvement mindset. Lead in the transition to lean manufacturing principles. Monitor equipment performance and analyze trends to improve reliability. Job Specific Lead daily operational review meetings. Collaborate closely with site-wide stakeholders. Manage all aspects of people management responsibilities. Ensure maintenance and asset care KPI’s are achieved. Qualifications and Experience Experience leading a team with a strong understanding of developing high-performing teams. BEng Degree (Mech, Elec, Mnf) or equivalent qualifications. Strong Lean manufacturing experience, minimum green belt or equivalent. Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
