Job Description
Squarespace seeks an experienced Engineering Manager for its Finance Products team. This role involves leading a team of engineers to develop financial data processing services, reports, and tools that inform company-level decisions.
As the lead of Finance Products, you'll work closely with the Finance team to build and maintain financial data processing services, including revenue recognition systems, financial data warehouses, and reporting solutions. You'll also support continuous improvement of the system, tests, and data quality indicators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain financial data processing services for the finance team
- Support continuous improvement of the system, tests, and data quality indicators
- Influence technical decisions
- Stay informed about new technologies
- Encourage technical growth of the team
- Lead engineers and collaborate to deliver customer-focused experiences
- Have regular 1-1 meetings with team members
- Take an active role in mentoring team members
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience leading a team of at least 3-5 engineers
- Experience with data modeling, storage, security, and retrieval
- Experience working with dynamic programming languages, relational databases, and distributed systems
- Experience with Google Cloud
- Experience building software for accounting or corporate finance, including revenue recognition and accounting systems

Cash Compensation Range:
$153,500 – $247,250 USD
The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria, including relevant skills, experience, and location. In addition to the cash compensation, all Squarespace employees are eligible to receive equity in the company as part of their total compensation.
