A Data Center Engineering Operations Technician role is a hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and operation responder.

Key job responsibilities SAFETY Follow and maintain the highest safety standards and diligently encourage a world-class safety culture.
As a facility owner team, ensure remediation of safety risks/issues in conjunction with other teams.
Own the safety initiatives and projects to foster strong safety culture.
ENGINEERING & FACILITY OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE - Operational experience and familiarity with electrical and mechanical equipment, including Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPSs), Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS's), Diesel Generators, Chillers, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), Exhaust Fans, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's), and Transformers.
We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.
We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain and were looking for talented people who want to help.
Youll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Knowledge of safe electrical practices according to guidelines set by relevant electrical safety supervisory bodies (e.g., ECSSAI and RECI in Ireland) - Professional Electrical or Mechanical Certification (National Craft Certificate (NCC), Registered Electrical Contractor (REC) or equivalent) or formal equivalent formal relevant qualification.
