Job Summary: We are seeking an Enhanced Anaesthetic Staff Nurse to join our team, responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing anaesthetic procedures. **Key Responsibilities:** * Assess patient needs upon admission, documenting a thorough and accurate nursing admission assessment. * Continuously assess patient condition, identifying problems requiring nursing care. * Develop and document a care plan based on patient needs and best practice. * Collaborate with other healthcare team members to deliver patient-centered care. * Provide safe and comprehensive nursing care, adhering to current standards and research. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. * Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues. * Function within the limits of NMBI and hospital policies, procedures, and standards. * Support the Mission Statement of Blackrock Clinic. * Demonstrate flexibility by assisting in other areas of the hospital as required. * Participate in quality assurance and contribute to the development of quality care within the clinic. * Maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues. **Professional Expectations:** * Set annual goals and objectives with the Clinical Nurse Manager. * Continue to develop personal knowledge and skills. * Seek education opportunities in addition to those provided by the hospital. * Provide direct supervision to other members of the nursing team when appropriate. * Participate in working groups to develop and promote quality care within Blackrock Clinic. * Participate in the education of learners and assist with the orientation of new personnel. * Present a professional appearance and be punctual. * Accept responsibility for Acting Up in specific instances, as assigned. **About Blackrock Clinic:** * We are a progressive and pioneering hospital committed to providing high-quality patient care. * We are passionate about our people and believe in their development and growth. * As a member of our team, you can benefit from a competitive salary, onsite parking, pension, annual bonus, discounted café, sports and social club, employee assistance programme, and discounted onsite pharmacy.
