About the roleIt's an exciting time to join the team here at AXA, with significant investment planned in all UK&I businesses to transform and deliver new digital services to our customers and streamline and automate our business processes. We're looking for an Enterprise Architect to provide strategic and technical leadership for our digital transformation.Reporting into the Head of Enterprise Architecture, you'll be responsible for defining the Architecture frameworks, standards, roadmap and ensuring that AXA develops reusable architecture assets and use of all new technologies and information systems. You'll support the Enterprise Architecture to advance digital transformation across the business, setting up business cases for digital design systems and be the champion for enterprise architecture depository.At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers.What you'll be doing:Providing vision and direction for our roadmapEnsuring alignment of technologies to the prescribed target architecture, architecture framework and standardsMonitoring the development of architecture across UK and Ireland to ensure our architecture practises remain up-to-date and effectiveAssessing new and existing strategic AXA UK and Ireland products and systems to identify opportunities for development and creating improvement plans where requiredDeveloping and embedding standards and patterns for common capability problems across AXA UK and IrelandIdentifying and evaluating tools, vendors and partners including early identification of emerging tools and vendors to meet our future needsDue to the number of applications we expect to receive for this role, we reserve the right to close this advert earlier than the listed closing date to ensure we're able to effectively manage interest. Therefore, if you're interested in joining us at AXA, please don't hesitate to apply.About youWhat we're looking for:Previous architecture design experience, either purely as an Enterprise Architect or a Solution ArchitectExperience in other IT disciplines such as Business Architecture/Analysis, Technical/Infrastructure Architecture within a multi-tier environmentWorking knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks e.g.TOGAF/ZachmanExperience in React framework and mobile apps developmentKnowledge and understanding of headless web content/systems is desirableStrong leadership and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage and prioritise a demanding workloadAs a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.What we offerAt AXA UK, we're appreciative of the people who work for us and our rewards package is reviewed regularly to reflect that.
