A leading manufacturing company seeks an experienced Environmental Engineer to manage compliance, drive innovative environmental solutions, and build strong stakeholder relationships.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Environmental Engineer to join our team. As an Environmental Engineer, you will be responsible for managing compliance, driving innovative environmental solutions, and building strong stakeholder relationships.

About the Role

  • Manage compliance with the monitoring programme as described in the company's Industrial Emissions licence.
  • Complete submissions for Planning applications, Licence review applications, and other business-critical applications to state agencies.
  • Investigate, follow-up, and report environmental incidents to Statutory Authorities.
  • Timely report monthly, quarterly, and annual data to the company and Statutory Authorities.
  • Design and implement solutions to improve environmental performance.
  • Lead audits conducted by EPA, external 3rd Party, and internally.
  • Manage external stakeholders.
  • Occasionally, work outside of normal working hours may be required.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years experience with considerable exposure to the environmental function.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated/heavy manufacturing industry.
  • Strong EPA & Licensing knowledge.
  • Technical College or University Degree in a Science, Environmental, Engineering, or related discipline is desirable.
