Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist sought for a contract role with a Global Pharmaceuticals client in Tullamore.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining the EHS management system, ensuring regulatory and corporate compliance, and managing the site's first response team.
Requirements include a practical approach to work, critical thinking, and experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry or a similar environment.
Our client is looking to pay around €55,000 DOE.
Job Description
The EHS Specialist will work closely with the EHS Lead and other Leads and staff to make improvements in all EHS programmes on site.
- Manage and continuously improve the site first response team
- Manage and monitor the site legal register via ENHESA
- Work at height, Hot Work, Excavations etc.
The EHS Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and corporate health and safety requirements in a manner consistent with continued plant profitability.
The ideal candidate will have a growth mindset, be able to build relationships and influence people at the workplace, and have a capacity for critical thinking.
