EHS Manager: 12-month Temporary Contract We are seeking a dedicated EHS Manager to support our EHS Director. In this role, you will provide effective and efficient services in maintaining Health & Safety, Environmental, and Sustainability practices. You will also promote and train staff on these essential systems, adhering to EHS and GMP standards. Primary tasks and responsibilities: Health and Safety: Conduct and review risk assessments. Perform daily/weekly safety checks. Administer and coordinate the Occupational Monitoring Programme. Conduct audits for processes and contractors. Develop and provide site training. Manage PPE stock. Environmental/Energy: Monitor and manage the effluent plant. Oversee the water sampling programme (effluent, stormwater, bundwater, groundwater). Manage waste and compile waste streams. Ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods regulations. Generate monthly reports on plant-wide and departmental waste management. Control and monitor waste logbooks and external waste areas. Liaise with waste disposal companies for collections and documentation. Sustainability: Collect sustainability-related data. Support company and group sustainability reporting requirements. Administer sustainability programmes. Qualifications: A third level qualification in Health and Safety. Member of IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) preferred. Professional certifications such as the NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent qualification is highly desirable. Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of practical experience in environmental, health, and safety management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. Strong understanding of Irish environmental, health, and safety regulations, standards, and industry practices. Experience in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and implementing control measures to mitigate health and safety risks. Experience leading environmental compliance programs, including waste management, water quality, and hazardous materials handling is highly desirable.
