Environmental Manager sought for a new project with a leading construction contractor, ensuring sustainability and environmental measures are met.
Our client is a major player in the international construction market, with a strong client book and a promising order book. The current opportunity is for an Environmental Manager to work on a new project, focusing on sustainable procurement and development. This role allows for the individual to make a significant impact and work on a high-profile project.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant science or environmental engineering subject, with a master's degree preferred. Chartered membership of a relevant professional body is also required. The individual should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a consultancy environment, specifically in the preparation and coordination of EIAR and non-statutory environmental reports.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Preparing and coordinating EIAR and non-statutory environmental reports
- Developing and implementing sustainable procurement and development strategies
- Project managing major environmental projects and developing bids
- Writing technical reports to best practice standards
