Job Description

Our client, a Canadian IT consultancy company is seeking to recruit an ERP Consultant to join their expanding Irish operations. As an ERP Consultant, you will play a critical role in delivering Microsoft Dynamics ERP solutions to clients. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of ERP implementations, including gathering requirements, designing solutions, configuring systems, training users, and providing ongoing support. Your expertise will help clients optimize their business processes and ensure successful ERP adoption. Key Responsibilities: Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and objectives. Conduct detailed requirement analysis and gather functional requirements. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the implementation process. Solution Design & Configuration: Design and document tailored Microsoft Dynamics ERP solutions to meet client needs. Configure Microsoft Dynamics modules (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, HR) based on best practices and client requirements. Develop customizations and integrations as necessary using Microsoft Power Platform or other tools. Implementation & Project Management: Lead or assist in project planning, scoping, and scheduling. Manage the implementation process, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and coordinate go-live activities. Training & Support: Develop training materials and deliver training sessions to end-users. Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting. Offer ongoing consulting services to optimize system performance and support business growth. Documentation & Reporting: Create comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, system configurations, and user guides. Prepare and present status reports, project updates, and post-implementation reviews to clients and internal stakeholders. Qualifications: Education & Certifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications (e.g., Finance and Operations, Supply Chain Management) are highly desirable. Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics ERP implementation, with a focus on Dynamics 365. Proven experience in at least two full-cycle ERP implementations. Strong understanding of business processes across various industries, including manufacturing, construction and pharmaceutical. Skills: Experience with ERP implementation (MS Dynamics desirable but not essential) Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members. Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, or other related technologies is a plus.
