Estimating Manager – M&E Services Job Title: Estimating Manager – M&E Services Industry Sector: Estimator, Senior Estimator, Estimating Manager, Head of Estimating, Mechanical, Electrical, M&E, Pharmaceutical, Building Services, Data Centres, Plant Rooms, Tier 1 Contractors, Tier 2 Contractors, Estimating Estimates, Contractors Location: Ireland Remuneration: €80,000 - €100,000 Benefits: 5% pension, health cash plan, life assurance, 30days annual leave The role of the Estimating Manager – M&E Services will involve: * Estimating Manager position role dealing with a range of mechanical & electrical services for the data centre market sector * Develop and lead the Estimating Team consisting of Estimators & Designers * Gaining an understanding of project requirements via drawings and client liaison * Perform quantity take-offs and material pricing to accurately estimate project costs * Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services * Present estimates to clients and participate in negotiation discussions as needed * Ability to utilise existing Ensign estimating software package to ensure accurate costs are prepared for all new projects * Analysis of market trends to ensure that bids are competitive * Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project-related documentation * Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and technology to enhance estimating accuracy and efficiency The ideal applicant will be an Estimating Manager – M&E Services with: * Must have 5 years+ experience in an Estimating Manager / Senior Estimator position experience within the mechanical & electrical market sector * Would consider building services, pharmaceutical, or mechanical related sectors too * Must have people management / leadership skills * High standard of organisational and time management skills * Strong understanding of M&E systems, codes, rates and standards * Excellent communication skills both written and verbal * IT literate (Microsoft Office) Mitchell Maguire is a specialist Construction Recruitment Consultancy, dealing exclusively with Construction Jobs within: Estimator, Senior Estimator, Estimating Manager, Head of Estimating, Mechanical, Electrical, M&E, Pharmaceutical, Building Services, Datacentres, Plant Rooms, Tier 1 Contractors, Tier 2 Contractors, Estimating Estimates, Contractors
