Job Description
Experienced Estimator sought to review project plans, prepare accurate cost estimates, and develop relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review project plans and specifications to determine scope of work and required materials and labour.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and analyse bids and proposals to identify areas of risk and opportunity.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure accurate pricing and availability of materials and services.
- Work closely with management to ensure effective budget management.
- Prepare and submit bids and proposals on time and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Continuously monitor and analyse the market to ensure competitive pricing and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
Requirements:
- At least five years of experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite, with ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and equipment, with strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
A salary in the region €60,000 - €80,000 plus package will be offered to the successful person.
