My client is currently recruiting for an experienced Estimator to join an off-site manufacturing team based in The off-site manufactured modules incorporate many different design features and installations including the following: Steel / aluminium structural frames Internal & external architectural finishes Mechanical & electrical installations LTHW / CHW piping High purity stainless steel piping Boiler houses Chilled water plantrooms Process plantrooms Fire sprinkler pump houses Electrical switchgear rooms Electrical sub-station rooms Battery rooms Back-up generator rooms Comms rooms Pipe racks Duties and responsibilities Preparing and collating accurate, detailed, and timely tenders based on drawings, specifications, bills of quantities and other information to secure profitable work orders. Sourcing subcontractor and supplier quotations, analysing information for ambiguity, risk and qualification and seeking clarification where necessary. Assist in the ongoing development of systems and procedures used in tendering and will keep up to date with contractual changes and other developments within the industry. They will work both in a team and on their own initiative and will have excellent IT skills including familiarity with MS office applications including Excel and a QS/Estimating or related package. Qualifications and Experience 5+ year's experience in an estimating role in a contracting or a specialist contracting background Relevant third level qualification.
