Estimator | Main Contractor | North Dublin | €75k ++ Comprehensive Benefits Package A well-established Construction Company based in North Dublin is seeking an experienced and qualified Estimator to join their team. The Estimator will play a critical role in the pre-construction phase by preparing accurate cost estimates for various construction projects. The position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of construction methods and materials. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates Analyze architectural drawings, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and project requirements Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather information and clarify project details Identify and quantify all necessary materials, labor, and equipment needed for project completion Maintain accurate records of all estimates, bids, and project documentation Prepare comprehensive bid proposals, including cost breakdowns and timelines Monitor and update cost databases and pricing information to reflect current market conditions KeyRequirements: Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred) 3+ years of experience as an Estimator with a main contractor Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards Proficiency in estimating software Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously and meet deadlines.
