Verification Engineer needed for Multimedia Video and Computer Vision HW Design team at Qualcomm, responsible for designing and developing complex IP Cores for cutting-edge Video CODEC Standards and Advanced Computer Vision applications.
Job Description
As a Verification Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding the expected functionality of multimedia designs, specifically video encoder/decoder and CV hardware IP and subsystem. You will work with architects, designers, and software engineers to plan and execute verification and validation of multimedia subsystems for integration into SoCs for mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding the expected functionality of multimedia designs, specifically video encoder/decoder and CV hardware IP and subsystem.
- Working with architects, designers, and software engineers to plan and execute verification and validation of multimedia subsystems for integration into SoCs for mobile applications.
- Comprehensive knowledge of interconnect protocols such as APB, AHB, AXI, ACE, ACE-Lite, and NoC concepts.
- Expertise in diverse integration tasks, including VIP Configuration, Register Model, and Design Debug Features.
- Strong working experience in coverage driven constraint random verification.
- Experience in formal verification and building simulation acceleration environment is a plus.
- Prior experience in multi-media HW accelerator verification Video Codec.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
- Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
- Ph.D. in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
