Job Description

The Executive Assistant to the Provost & Vice President for Academic Affairs provides critical support to the Provost & VPAA's office, ensuring the Provost & VPAA can focus on larger University issues. The role requires exceptional organizational, communication, and collaboration skills to manage various tasks and stakeholders, including faculty, deans, and administrative offices. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of higher education structures and governance practices, as well as excellent research and analytical skills. Key responsibilities include managing executive correspondence, drafting university-wide emails, creating presentation materials, and overseeing administrative processes. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality and discretion. A bachelor's degree is required, with a master's degree preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint is also desired. The position requires travel to other campuses and is contingent on eligibility to work in the United States.
