Seeking detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support Provost & Vice President for Academic Affairs in overseeing 13 schools & colleges across Long Island, Brooklyn, and Hudson Valley.

**Job Description:** The Executive Assistant provides critical support to the Provost & Vice President for Academic Affairs, enabling them to focus on key university issues. This role involves liaison work with school & college Deans, administrative offices, and faculty on various matters. Key responsibilities include: * **Executive Communications:** + Manage executive correspondence & email to university stakeholders + Draft university-wide emails on behalf of the Provost & Vice President's office + Create presentation materials, including PowerPoint * **Faculty Management:** + Administer processes for Sabbatical, Non-Tenure Track Faculty, and Promotion and Tenure applications + Oversee the LIUFF Professional Development Fund + Create & maintain academic affairs calendars, applications, and forms * **Committee Meeting Management:** + Manage agendas & meeting minutes for university committees * **Human Resources Operations:** + Oversee annual faculty line request process & criteria + Partner with Deans on faculty hiring procedures * **Special Projects:** + Handle confidential, high-level projects on behalf of the Provost & Vice President's office **Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred * Excellent organizational, oral, & written communication skills * Ability to collaborate, manage, & work with diverse groups * Familiarity with higher education structures, governance practices, & budgeting processes (preferred) * Strong research skills & ability to apply collected information to policy development * Sensitivity, discretion, & ability to delegate issues effectively * Commitment to institutional mission & priorities * Familiarity with Microsoft Office & Share Point (preferred) **Company Information:** LIU is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity & excellence in our academic community.
