Job Title: Chef de Partie

Neylons Facility Management is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team in Dublin.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to manage the supervision and control of all food and beverage from the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation while maintaining a high standard of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the supervision and control of all food and beverage from the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Develop and implement food preparation and presentation methods that comply with standards and client specifications.
  • Ensure all food is prepared using fresh and local produce, maintaining a high standard of quality and presentation.
  • Manage and maintain all legislative paperwork, including the Bilfinger Kitchen Diary.
  • Maintain the company standard of hygiene and safety, taking any necessary action.
  • Develop and update cleaning schedules as necessary.
  • Ensure all areas under the chef's control are left clean and tidy at all times, and all equipment is switched off at the end of each shift.
  • Maintain satisfactory relationships at all appropriate levels of the client organization.
  • Attend to all customer complaints and compliments within the guidelines and timeframes laid down by the contract and Account Director.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar food service environment.
  • Qualification in HACCP, Culinary Arts, or Professional Cookery.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Flexibility and the ability to innovate.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and ability to implement a HACCP Plan.
  • Customer-focused and keen to interact with customers daily.
  • Food costing knowledge.
  • Ability to teach, mentor, and inspire staff.
  • Ability to maintain standards, quality, and innovation daily.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Passion and hunger for food and ingredients.
