Executive Legal Counsel 4 years + PQE either as Barrister, Solicitor in In-house Counsel? Our semi state client are hiring an Executive Legal Counsel, initially on a 13 month contract basis. You will gain sit in the Governance & Procurement dept., and report to the Senior Legal Counsel. This is very much an advisory position, with a key focus on regulatory and contract law, but the successful candidate will also gain excellent exposure across a number of areas, contributing to a wide range of functions. It will be of particular interest to those who have genuine interests in sustainability, energy and climate matters. Provide Legal & Regulatory advisory across all statutory functions Assist the Senior Legal Counsel in managing a varied legal case load Review, draft and negotiate commercial contracts and the review of Procurement contracts Offer advisory to the DPO and Information Compliance Officer Identifying commercial and legal risks and following up with strategies as to how to mitigate This role will suit a candidate who has solid experience in a commercial environment and sound knowledge of contract law and/or public law, and experience in applying sound legal judgement to complex issues. Relationship and communication skills are a given - you will join a hard working and collaborative team. In return, expect access to a varied and dynamic work load on very topical matters. Salary is €72,511 and the working week is 35 hours, 27 days annual leave. A hybrid model is in place, typically 3/2.
