Job Description

Experienced Pittsburgh Family Law Attorney sought to support litigation, conduct research, draft documents, and provide strategic counsel in a collaborative team environment.

We are changing the way law is practiced by running a law firm differently. We source clients for our attorneys, allowing them to focus on client work and giving clients the best possible experience.

Responsibilities

  • Exceed billable hour requirements.
  • Perform client needs assessments.
  • Develop strategic case plans for clients' matters relative to their budgets.
  • Communicate with clients.
  • Prepare for and attend court hearings and trials.
  • Draft all manner of pleadings.
  • Communicate with opposing counsel and court professionals.
  • Work closely with support staff to ensure effectiveness and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct legal research, prepare for and attend hearings and other legal proceedings, and provide legal counsel.
  • Keep files organized to ensure the most recent updates are accessible to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
  • Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Collaborate with clients, senior associates, and other staff to move cases toward resolution efficiently.
  • Analyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients.
  • Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action.
  • Resolve cases efficiently by communicating effectively with and working alongside senior attorneys and paralegals.

  • Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA).

Compensation

$100,000 - $150,000 yearly
